Saturday, May 19- Day 6: 

Today we spent part of the day on a train headed back to Vienna. When we arrived back in Vienna a group of us went to Belvedere. This is a large palace located in Vienna with a lot of open garden area. The grounds were beautiful and littered with statues of a mermaid goddess type woman.

After we explored Belvedere for a little bit a group of us went for dinner and gelato and a walk. Honestly the little leisurely walks and strolls have turned out to be some of my most favorite parts of this trip. Don't get me wrong, I love going to see all the tours and structured activities. There is just something about getting lost in the city and stumbling upon so many neat things that really strikes my fancy. We have stumbled upon so many neat things that we never would have thought to seek out on our own.
